Boyd Gaming reported second-quarter 2026 results on July 24, with total revenue reaching $1.03bn. The financial update covers operations across the company’s casino and gaming portfolio through June 30.
Gaming operations generated $683m in revenue, compared to $671m during the same period last year. The first half of 2026 delivered $2.03bn in total revenue and $1.33bn from gaming activities. Net income for the quarter stood at $131.2m, or $1.75 per share, while adjusted EBITDAR recorded $350.5m.
Both metrics show a decrease from the $151.5m net income and $357.9m EBITDAR reported in Q2 2025.
Regional Performance and Operational Metrics
The Midwest and South segment contributed $556.9m, surpassing the $540m recorded in Q2 2025. Las Vegas operations experienced a revenue decline, which the company attributed to reduced destination traffic in the Downtown district. CEO Keith Smith stated that the quarter "demonstrated the benefits of our diversified business model," highlighting a 40% property operating margin. The company distributed over $170m to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases, citing strong balance sheet conditions and consistent free cash flow.
